6 Ways to eliminate fruit flies from your home or apartment

1.Hire a Pest control Service provider

This is one of the easiest methods to eliminate fruit flies from your home just hire a pest control service provider in your locality whenever there is a fly problem in my home I usually hire flies and pest control services in Dubai UAE and they get the work done. 2.Readymade trap from Store

If your homemade trap is not working very effectively then you can visit your local hardware store and buy a sticky fly trap. These traps are very effective against fruit flies and normal flies. place the flytrap in the area where there are fruit flies and eliminate it once the sticky area is Full.

 

3.vinegar Trap

Vinegar Trap is also an effective Way to eliminate both fruit flies and normal flies from your home or apartment here is how to make the mixture water :

*Fill a Container with water

* mix a tablespoon of sugar and vinegar in the water and stir

*after add a few drops of dish soap to the solution and stir

place the solution in the fly affected area. after that all of the flies will be attracted to the solution and the flies will die once they touch the solution. can you repeat this process as many as you want.

 

4.rotten fruit method

This trapping method is very effective against fruit flies just take a rotten fruit that flies love and follow these steps :

*First put the rotten fruit or any food items that flies love and place them in a disposable container.

*cover the container with a plastic wrap

*then put a hole on the top of the wrap and place it in the fruit fly affected area.

What happens here is that the fruit flies will try to move inside the container through the hole of the wrap and after that, they will be trapped inside the trap they will not be able to move outside and once the trap is full you can dispose of them.

 

5.Finding the fly hotspot

Try to find out where the flies are coming from like if they are hanging around certain food items then throw out that food item and clean that particular area with a good cleaner.

 

6.swimming pool trap

*if you have any leftover red wine in your home then use that wine to create a swimming pool trap with it like, pour the red wine & dish detergent into a container and stir 

*cover the container with a wrap

*put small holes in the wrap and always make sure that the holes are big enough for the flies to get in.

The red wine will attract the fruit flies and after the fruit flies land on the solution they will not be able to fly away because of the solution, in turn, they will drown and die.
